about the role

nate is looking for our first technical talent acquisition manager for the NYC office! You’ll have the opportunity to work with engineering leadership to build and cultivate talent pipelines for our hiring needs. You will have the opportunity to build hiring processes from scratch, create proactive sourcing strategies, and act as a strategic thought partner to the business. We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about hiring, but is driven by a desire to build a company which balances operational excellence with a welcoming and inclusive employee culture.

  • Manage and own full the technical talent acquisition lifecycle from end to end
  • Collaborate with Engineering Leadership & internal teams to deeply understand their hiring needs and proactively translate that into a positive candidate and interview experience
  • Compose and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract high quality talent pipelines with a meaningful emphasis on diversity
  • Be an advocate for the nate culture and value proposition, passionately representing the nate principles to develop a best in class team
  • Maintain exceptional standards and data integrity across tools and systems
  • Breakdown, participate in, and champion major projects and initiatives to improve talent acquisition at nate

about you

  • 2+ years of experience recruiting for technical roles at a fast growing start-up
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing for candidates via multiple channels - LinkedIn, Networking groups, Slack channels, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of a web-based ATS, preferably Lever or Greenhouse
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed while needing minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships
  • A passion for embracing diversity and inclusivity in your talent acquisition process
